Fujita Health University Hospital was founded by Fujita-Gakuen incorporated educational institution with 324 beds in 1973. Our Hospital is the largest single healthcare organization in Japan with 1,435 beds.

We undertake healthcare practices aimed to reduce risks for patients and their families as the Department of Quality and Safety in Healthcare.

Division of Safety Management in Healthcare
The Division of Safety Management in Healthcare enhances monitoring functions at an individual and team level to provide safer medical services. In case a medical accident occurs, which must not happen as a matter of course, we strive to prevent it from recurring. For the sufficient safety of healthcare, we collect accurate relevant information about the accident and then conduct a thorough analysis.
Division of Infection Control and Prevention
The Division of Infection Control and Prevention implements a variety of activities to protect all people going in and out of the hospital, including patients, their families, and hospital staff, from a risk of infection such as a novel influenza virus. We provide education or counseling for the staff or students as well as planning and instruction for surveillance. We are also committed to early detection of outbreaks through our inspection in the hospital, epidemiological investigation and analysis, the creation of information reports on detected bacteria, etc.
